William J. Heubusch

Age 88, of Warsaw, passed away on June 30, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.

He was born on July 4, 1936 in Buffalo, son of the late William J. and Erma Horvath Heubusch. Bill was a dairy farmer until 1975 when he sold the farm. He then went on to work for the town of Wethersfield before proudly becoming a heavy equipment operator for Genesee – Leroy Stone Corporation until his retirement. Bill would drive truck once in a while for area farmers after his retirement. He was a former member of the Dairymen League as well as the U.S. Steel Workers Union. Bill was also a former member of the Buffalo Evening News Baseball League in Gainesville. He was a longtime member of the United Church in Warsaw. Bill enjoyed traveling to Florida for the winter months and playing horseshoes.

Along with his parents, Bill is predeceased by a sister-in-law, Marilyn Pitts, brother-in-law, James Pitts, and brother-in-law Paul Tomlinson.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jane Heubusch of Warsaw; his daughters, Kathleen Heubusch of Depew, NY, Debra (Craig) Ikeler of Gainesville, Margery (Brian) Arnold of Fillmore; his grandchildren, Joseph Ikeler, Katelyn (Bradley) Leach, Kelsey (Xavier) Almeter; his four step-grandchildren; his great-grandchildren, Layla Ikeler, Craig Ikeler, and two more on the way; his sister-in-law, Maureen Tomlinson of Clemmons, NC; and several cousins.

Friends may call on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 2-4 PM at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Bill’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 4 PM. No burial at this time.
