Age 78, of Castile, passed away on September 2, 2026 at his home.
He was born on November 26, 1947 in Warsaw, NY to the late Glen and Mariam Ahl Perrine. Wayne graduated high school in 1966 then entered the Army and was sent to Vietnam. After his father’s death he was sent back to the states to finish his term. Wayne was a proud veteran, and was also very proud of his brother, Laverne’s service during WWII. Laverne was in the third armored tank division in the Battle of the Bulge, during which he was shot, but survived.
Wayne was a train enthusiast, collecting model trains since childhood. He also enjoyed working in his garage on small engine repair, especially his collection of Wheel Horse tractors and lawn mowers.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Laverne Perrine, Richard Perrine, and Lois Perrine (Bud) Johnson.
Wayne is survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A private burial will take place at Alger Cemetery in Hume, NY.
