Tracy S. Helmer

Age 59, of Warsaw, passed away on June 8, 2024 at Suzanne’s Comfort Care Home in Perry.

He was born on April 26, 1965 in Warsaw, son of the late Donald Helmer and Barbara Deiter Lee. Tracy was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was also a man of many trades. Over the years Tracy worked for George Thomas and Sons, Conrail, Sabin Metals, and Ed Arnold’s Scrap Processors. He enjoyed the scrap recovery trade so much it became a hobby of his before turning it into a business for himself.

Along with his parents, Tracy is predeceased by his sisters, Cindy Helmer DeGroot and Ellie Helmer Marble; his brothers, Steve Helmer and Randy Helmer; his sister-in-laws, Loretta Helmer and Sue Hotchkiss.

He is survived by his brothers, Jim (Christina) Helmer of Lake Wales, FL, David (Cindy) Helmer of Warsaw, Kevin Helmer of Buffalo, Randy Deiter of Warsaw; his sister-in-law, Lani Helmer; his life partner, Stephanie Lewis of Buffalo; his step-children, Ryan (Jazmine Schillaci) Gursslin, Zander Lewis, Izzy Lewis; his step-grandchild, Eli; several nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles.
