Susan C. Meyer

Age 71, of Warsaw, passed away on September 25, 2026, at the Livingston County Nursing Facility in Mt. Morris.

She was born January 23, 1955, in Warsaw, daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Green Meyer. Sue graduated in 1975 from Alfred Tech with an associate’s degree in business administration. In 1977 she graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics specializing in Agricultural finance. Sue then went on to work for the United States Department of Agriculture. She was also a devoted member of St. Mary’s Church in Silver Springs. Sue was a member and past president of the Warsaw Garden Club as well as a member of the women’s rights organization, ZONTA International.

She is predeceased by her parents and a brother, Donald Meyer.

Sue is survived by her brother, John (Gail) Meyer; her nieces, Heidi McCluskey, and Michelle Russell; her nephews, Todd Meyer, Derek Meyer, and Troy Meyer who’s also a godchild; five great nieces; one great nephew; her sister-in-law, Kathleen Meyer; her good friends, Kyle and Deb Welch; her godchildren, Kate West, and Tim Welch.

A memorial mass for Sue will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10am at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 171 N. Main St., Warsaw. Private burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Silver Springs. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or Animal Friends of Wyoming County, 4380 Rt. 19, Silver Springs, NY 14550 or donor’s choice.
