Steven J. Gregoire Jr.

Steven J. Gregoire, Jr., 17, of Varysburg passed away on Sunday (February 8, 2026) at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw as a result of injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.

Steven was born May 22, 2008 in Warsaw. A beloved son of Steven and Patricia (Siler) Gregoire, Sr. an amazing big brother to Hannah and Andrew, a wonderful boyfriend to Naomi and a friend to everyone he came in contact with. Stevie is a senior at Letchworth Central School; also attending the Genesee Valley Boces Conservation Program. He was a member of the National Technical Honor Society, and an active member of the Fields of Grace Church.

Stevie loved working along side his dad whether cutting wood, working on tractors or just hanging out in their garage. Stevie loved everything about farming; he has been helping on the farm since he was 8 years old at his uncle's side. His love for farming extended to playing FarmSim with Hannah, Andy and friends.

Stevie was employed by Broughton Farms, and also worked for Yankee Beef as well as Gary Cummins doing work restoring tractors. He also found time to work with his grandparents at their campground and in their veggie garden.

Stevie loved to snowmobile, go to tractor pulls, and to hang out with his family, Naomi and friends.

Along with his parents, Steven is survived by his siblings Hannah and Andrew; girlfriend Naomi Yount; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Siler, Sr.; Aunts Heather (Jim) Bennett, Debby (Ron) Perl, Kim (Jim) Daneals, Beth Vatter, Dawn (Ken) Bak, Uncles; Joe (Erica) Siler, Kevin (Jeri) Gregoire, Keith (Laurie) Gregoire and cousins Dalton and EmmaJo Bennett, Paige Perl, and JJ Siler, David, Michael Gabriella Gregoire, Brittany and Ryan Vatter, Barbara Roba, Heather Monroe, Devin Daneals and Megan Robb.

Steven is reunited in death with his paternal grandparents Donald and Joyce Gregoire, Aunt Grace Offhaus and cousin Oliver Siler.

Stevie was so selfless and caring; he would drop everything to help anyone. Stevie was a beacon of kindness with a gentle soul that touched all who met him. He had a passion for living life to it's fullest and always brightened a room.

A Mass will be held on February 28th, 2026 at Saint Joseph's Church in Varysburg at 11am. Immediately following will be a Celebration of Life held at the North Java Firehall from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Memorial donations can be made in Steven's name to The Steven Gregoire Jr's Trade School Scholarship fund or a donation can be made to assist in the restoration of his beloved 1066 tractor. Donations can be dropped off at Creekside Convenience at 4200 Route 78 Hermitage, NY.
