Age 55, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
He was born October 4, 1966 in Sherman, TX to the late Robert Ford, Sr. and Nellie Gray Strickland Ford of VA. Robert was a hardworking man who worked for UPS as a tractor trailer driver. He was a good friend who was always striking up conversation in hopes of gaining more.
Robert loved being outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hiking, kayaking sailing, travel, and adventure with his long time companion Christine among many other outdoor activities. He loved all music. He loved his family and had an extreme love of dogs, always stopping to pet and hug any that passed by.
Along with his father, Robert is predeceased by his brother, William.
Surviving along with his mother, Nellie, is his significant other, Christine Adinolfe of Warsaw; sons, Robert Ford, III of Oakland, PA, Benjamin Ford of Newfane; stepdaughters, Rebecca (Maja) Adinolfe of Buffalo, Katherine (Bryan) Adinolfe of Amherst; in-laws George and Barbara Pattison of Derby; brother, George (Kellye) Ford of VA; sister, Robin Short of VA; many nieces, nephews, cousins and his dog, Frodo the Pug.
Friends may call Friday, February 18th from 3-7 PM at the Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Robert’s memorial service will be held Saturday, February 19th at 11 AM at the United Church of Warsaw (corner of E. Buffalo & S. Main Sts.). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Animal Friends of Wyoming County at www.animalfriendsofwyco.com.
