Robert S. Johnston

Castile - Robert S. Johnston, 69 of Castile, passed away on Thursday (June 27, 2024) at Wyoming Co. Community Hospital in Warsaw.

Mr. Johnston was born September 27, 1954 in Buffalo, a son of the late Robert T. and Margaret (Beal) Johnston.

He was a member of the Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club and greatly enjoyed attending the races at Wyoming County International Speedway in Perry. He raced cars there for a few years and helped his brother race for 25 years. Bob liked working in his yard and tending to his tomato plants.

Robert is survived by his children, Stephanie Burns and Robert R. Johnston both of Florida; brother, David Johnston of Warsaw; aunt, Louise (late John) Kirkman of Cowlesville; uncle, Harvey (Eleanor) Beal of Depew; cousins, Hugh Chavis, Jr. of Castile, and Tonnie (late Thomas) Paradowski of Bennettsville, SC. Grandchildren and many friends also survive.

There will be no visitation. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Bob's memory to your local food pantry.
