Raymond Harold Bliss

Raymond Bliss of Warsaw, NY passed peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY after a brief illness.

Raymond was born on February 27, 1940 at his family farmhouse located in Centerville, NY. Ray is the late son of Harold and Mildred White Bliss.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Linda (Akin) Bliss of 43 years, including his children, Harold Bliss of Warsaw, NY, Jeanette Bliss of Phoenix, AZ, Louella Stewart of Warsaw, NY, Karen (Floyd) Clark of Phoeniz, AZ, Raymond (Donna) Bliss of Warsaw, NY, Michael (Kristin) Bliss of Warsaw, NY. Ray is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a sister, Christine (Mitchell) Jones of Houghton, NY and several cousins.

Raymond his predeceased by his parents, brothers, Fred Bliss and LaVern Bliss, sisters, Ernestine Jones, and Laura Shoemaker, granddaughter, Mary Clark, and great granddaughter, Angelia Partin.

Raymond’s celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 23rd from 12 – 5 pm at the Wyoming County Veterans Club at the corner of W. Buffalo and Wyoming Streets in Warsaw.
