Wyoming - Randolph N. "Randy" Blakeslee, 73, of Wyoming passed away surrounded by family on Friday (January 30, 2026) at home under the care of HomeCare & Hospice.
Randy was born December 2, 1952 in Warsaw, a son of the late Robert and Ruby (Fleming) Blakeslee.
Randy served his country honorably with the Air Force from 1973 to 1981. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the American Legion. He was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Pavilion.
Randy was a devoted family man who cherished being a grandpa and papa to his 16 grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to his first great-granddaughter, Daphne. A true jack of all trades, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He especially loved family card nights, which were always filled with laughter. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking long walks with his family in Genesee County Park. He also dearly loved his kitties-Tigger, Piggy, Lucky, Jack, Betty, and Wilma-who took turns curling up on his lap and sharing his bed.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy (Siler) Blakeslee of Wyoming; children, Dan (Wendy) Blakeslee of Beech Island, South Carolina, Jenny (Rich) Klancer of Pavilion, Sandy (Jason) Nearhood of Leicester, and Jimmy Blakeslee of Wyoming; grandchildren, Taylor (Emily) Floyd, Rachel (David) Castillo, Taylor, Mackenzie, and Jeremy Blakeslee, Bobby (fiance Kendall Chapman) Offhaus, Eric (fiance Hailey Weis) Offhaus, Brandon, Rylie, Andy, Lucas, and Ruby Klancer, Nathan Nearhood, Hailey (fiance Lukas Stowell) Nearhood, Bryce and Caleb Nearhood; great-granddaughter, Daphne Castillo; brothers, Jeff (Cindy) Blakeslee of Myerstown, Pennsylvania, Jonathan (Paulette) Blakeslee of Pittsburg, Oklahoma; sister, Rebecca (Dwight) Wallace of Warsaw; special cousin, Linda (Steve) Parker of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Along with his parents, Randy is reunited in death with his son, Bobby Blakeslee.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday (February 15, 2026) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 North Main Street in Warsaw, where Randy's memorial service will immediately follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Pavilion will be private.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing may make a memorial contribution to the National Rifle Association or HomeCare & Hospice in Randy's memory.
Randy was not a suit and tie kind of guy; therefore the family requests those attending Randy's services to please dress in your best flannel and jeans.
