Age 78, of the Town of Gainesville, passed away at home on August 3, 2020.

He was born December 28, 1941 in Wellsville, NY son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Terribury Leonard. Paul was employed as a machinist for many years at the Dresser-Rand Company in Wellsville. He was a lifetime volunteer firefighter, serving for many years in the Perry Center Fire Department. Paul was an avid stock car enthusiast and served as a mechanic for many racing teams. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.

Surviving are his sons, Martin (Karen) Leonard of Angelica, Daniel Leonard of Arizona, Jason (Chastity) Leonard of Belmont; sister, Gloria Meese of Scio; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his former spouse, Linda Bonhoff of Silver Springs. He was predeceased by one grandchild and siblings, Elaine and Barbara.

A Fireman’s service will be held on Saturday, August 22 at 11 AM followed by Paul’s memorial service at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Memorials may be made to the Perry Center Fire Department, PO Box 204, Perry, NY 14530.
