Patricia A. Kemp

Age 85, of Castile, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family on June 14, 2026, at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

She was born on August 9, 1940, in Herkimer, NY, daughter of the late Harold Nichols and Marion Gould Farber. Patricia worked in human resources at the Bank of Castile in Castile for over 30 years. She liked camping, reading, and putting puzzles together. Patricia was a fan of dirt track racing and enjoyed going on outings with her friends. The times she loved the most though were those spent with her family, especially watching her granddaughter compete in horse shows.

Patricia is predeceased by her parents; her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Robert Kemp who passed away in 2019; her brother, James “Jim” Nichols.

She’s survived by her daughter, Tammy (Alan) Beardsley of Silver Springs; her sons, Terry Kemp of Hagerstown, MD, Tommy (Colleen) Kemp of Batavia; her grandchildren, Tonya (Matthew) Rodenbach, Andrew (Mona) Beardsley, Adam (Chelsea) Beardsley, Austin Beardsley, Alyssa Beardsley, Carissa (Brett) Doward; her great-grandchildren, Graham (Olivia) Rodenbach, Forrest Beardsley, Brett Doward Jr., Brayden Doward, and two more on the way in October; her sister, Marlene Casey; her brother, Jon (Deloris) Nichols; her brother-in-laws, Joe Casey, Jim (Vicki) Kemp; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 11am – 1pm at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Patricia’s funeral service will be held immediately after visitation at 1pm followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Silver Springs.
