Patricia J. Gilliland

Age 66, of Warsaw, passed away on October 22, 2025, at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

She was born on June 5, 1959, in Warsaw, daughter of the late Wayne and Mary D’Angelo Gilliland. She worked as a medical receptionist for over thirty-five years, most notably at Eastside Nursing Home and Wyoming County Community Hospital. Patricia was known for her spunk and sarcasm and was a great friend to all. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, board games, and watching game shows on television, especially Family Feud. Patricia was an avid bird watcher and loved hummingbirds. She also liked to travel and would often go for drives around the countryside. One of her favorite places to go was Letchworth State Park. She loved spoiling her grand-dogs Bentley, Cooper, and Bindi as well but the thing that gave Patricia the most joy was the time she spent with her friends and family.

Along with her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her husband, Daniel J. Murtha.

She’s survived by her daughter, Jenna (Tony) Kunjcheria of Warsaw; her sister, Theresa Gilliland of Portageville; several cousins and many close friends.

Friends may call on November 1, 2025, from 9-11 AM at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Patricia’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 11 AM. No burial to be held at this time.
