Norma J. Crist

Age 92, of Warsaw, passed away on February 28, 2026, at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw after a short illness.

She was born on September 27, 1933, in Warsaw, New York and she is the daughter of the late David and Florella Abel Robinson. Norma attended Warsaw High School and was a Cheerleader and an excellent athlete. In addition, she was a member of the United Methodist Church in Warsaw, NY.

Norma, along with her late husband Bud (Franklin C Crist, Sr.) purchased the Warsaw Dry Cleaners in February 1958. They owned and operated the Warsaw Dry Cleaners together for over fifty years. Norma enjoyed bowling and golfing, and was a member of both Silver Lake Country Club and Attica Country Club. In retirement Norma and Bud moved to The Villages in Florida as a winter retreat and away from the western New York winters and to be with her sister Judy Hersha. Norma and Bud summered at their home in Perry, NY. Norma loved the Buffalo Bills and her sole wish was to see them win a Super Bowl.

Norma, is predeceased in death by her parents, David and Florella Robinson; her husband Franklin C Crist Sr.;her sister Judy Hersha; her daughter Cathy Crist-Ewell.

She is survived by son’s Clark (Mary) of Warsaw, NY and Myrtle Beach, SC and Kim (Heidi) Crist of Colorado Springs, CO; seven grand children and five great-grandchildren.
