Michal P. Kral

Age 66, of Gainesville, passed away on December 15, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

He was born on January 3, 1959 in Warsaw, NY to the late Walter and Anna Stasel Kral. Mike worked in the appliance repair business for many years. First at Zeches Appliance & Furniture Store, then he went to Gary’s TV & Appliance before starting his own repair business which he ran for 20 years.

Mike enjoyed collecting paper currency, coins, sports cards, and old bottles. He loved being outdoors, especially being at his pond and going out hunting. Most of all, Mike loved Fridays at the cabin with his friends.

Along with his parents, Mike is predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Ava Cummings, brothers, Gerald and Ronald, sisters, Krystina Pepe and Maria Born, sister-in-law, Pamela Kral and brother-in-law, Robert D. Severson.

Mike is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patti (Patricia) Kral, whom he married on July 21, 1984. Together they raised a wonderful young man, Kenneth (Shona) Kral of Scottsville, who Mike was very proud of. His grandson, Evan Kral was his biggest joy.

He is also survived by his siblings, Thomas (Sue) Kral of CA, Andrew (Debra) Kral of MA, Joseph (Tina) Kral of Warsaw, Donald (Paula) Kral of KY, Robert (Helen) Kral of Lamont, Jean (John) Foote of Lamont, Judith (Dennis) Doud of Castile; sisters-in-law, Paula (Gregory) Hammerly of NC, Connie (Mike) Petrysczak of FL; brother-in-law, Woodrow (Della) Cummings of Warsaw; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins across the country, and his beloved dog, Jackson, who never left his side.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
