Michael Shawn Smith

Age 62, of East Bethany, passed away on October 13, 2026.

He was born on September 20, 1964, in Warsaw, son of the late James and Lucia Perges Smith. Michael worked as a truck driver for Heidelberg Materials in Pavilion. He enjoyed attending car shows and working on cars. Michael also liked snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, welding and riding his Harley.

He is predeceased his parents; a sister, Mildred (Peter) Plowe; his brothers, Dennis Smith and Richard Smith; his grandparents, Frank and Olive Smith.

Michael is survived by his loving companion, Lisa Ross; his daughter, Daylene (Robert Tirabassi) Smith; his sons, Shawn Smith and Andrew Smith; his sisters, Judy (Alan Williams) Gorton, Cynthia (Lee Smith) Johnson; his grandchild, Luka Tirabassi; his nephews, Vincent Smith and Mitchell Johnston; his niece, Jennifer Johnston; his brother-in-law, Brian Johnston.

Friends may call on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1-4 pm at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 4 pm.
