Age 79, of Warsaw, passed away on January 4, 2026, at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
He was born on November 21, 1946, in Rosenheim, Germany, son of the late Michel and Anna Olkevich Padiak. He worked at Eastman Kodak as a warehouse supervisor for many years and worked at the Home Depot in Batavia as well as the YMCA in both Warsaw and Batavia. Michael enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors and had an interest in motorcycles in his younger years. He also loved travelling with his family and recently went on a trip down Route 66.
Along with his parents, Michael is predeceased by his brother, Wally Padiak; a grandson, Tristan; a stepson, Jeffery Zeitvogel.
Mike is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years Marcia Springett Padiak of Warsaw; his sons, Robert (Taryn) Padiak of King, NC, Andy (Diane) Padiak of Cary, NC; his daughter, Diana (James) Falzarano of Clayton, NC; his step-daughter, Michelle (Bob) Friedler of Rochester, NY; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; several family members in Ukraine; and will be deeply missed by his best friend, Kenny DeMeo.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 1-3 PM at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Michael’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 3 PM.
