Marcia A. Rease

Age 72, of Portageville, NY, passed away on March 28, 2020 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw, following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 18, 1948 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Wilyat Palermo. Marcia was employed for over twenty years as a postal clerk with the US Postal Service in Warsaw. People in the community always looked forward to her smile and friendly conversation on their visits there. She was a very family oriented person. Marcia loved spending time with her relatives and friends.

Surviving are her husband of forty-seven years, Gerald Rease; her sons, Joseph Rease of Cedar Edge, Colo., Jakob Rease of Dalton, NY; her sister, Kathy (Ted) Aldrich of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Riley and Skyler and several nieces and nephews.

Because of the COVID-19 crisis, Marcia’s family will make plans for a public celebration of her life at a date in the future. Private burial will be in East Koy Cemetery, Pike. Memorials in Marcia’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
