Age 60, of Buffalo, passed away on July 30, 2019 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
She was born December 10, 1958 in Buffalo, daughter of the Clifton and Mary Snyder Young. Loretta was employed as a tax preparer for H&R Block and was a member of the All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo. She enjoyed camping, crocheting and cruises, as well as playing horseshoes, bingo, and card games. Loretta was known to put a smile on everyone’s face.
Loretta is predeceased by brother-in-law, Steve Helmer; sister-in-law’s, Cindy Helmer and Sue Helmer; and nephew, Ryan Helmer.
She’s survived by her husband, Kevin Helmer of Buffalo; her sons, Michael Helmer of Buffalo and Chris Helmer of Buffalo; her nieces, Mary (Lou) Barca of Buffalo, Sheila Donahue of Warsaw, Stephanie Helmer of Colorado and Pam Helmer of Melbourne, FL; her nephews, Joe Cameron of Amherst, Jaime Helmer of Dansville, Travis Helmer of Castile, Josh Helmer of Perry and Jeremy Helmer of West Seneca; her great nieces, Ashley Barca of Buffalo, Megan Cameron of Amherst and Allyson Cameron of Amherst; her great nephew, Ian Cameron of Amherst; her brother-in-law’s, Jim (Christine) Helmer of Lake Wales, FL, Randy (Lani) Helmer of Castile, David (Cynthia) Helmer of Warsaw, Randy Dieter of Silver Springs and Trait Helmer of Warsaw; her sister-in-law, Ellie Helmer of Daytona, FL; her half brother, Johnny Croft of Buffalo and her family friend, Kirk Kijanka of Buffalo.
Friends may call Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 11AM-2PM at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Loretta’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 2PM. Burial will be held Monday, August 5, 2019 at 11AM at Warsaw Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA, 22215.
