"Kay", Age 77, of Silver Springs, NY, passed away on September 10, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
She was born in Warsaw, NY on August 14, 1943, daughter of the late Charles and Helen “Fuzzy” (Zydel) Wagner.
On June 19, 1965, Kay married the love of her life, Robert Prince. Bob and Kay were devoted to one another for nearly 60 years. “It’s a wonderful life” was Kay’s description of her many years with Bob. While Bob was known to say, “We were never broke because we had a billion dollar love.”
Kay loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed days at their canal house, fishing, hunting and boating. Kay looked forward to trips to the casino, traveling to zoos all across the country and the many motorcycle rides taken with Bob. She is remembered for her love of coffee (ringing for another cup), daily scratch-offs and witty humor.
Surviving along with her beloved husband, Robert Prince, are her children, Charles (Rebecca) Prince of Palmyra, Suzan (Wade) McClurg of Silver Springs; grandchildren, Cassandra (Patrick) McKeown, Tyler (Alexandria) McClurg, Anthony Prince; great-grandchildren, Leighton and Lillia; her sister, Mary (the late Richard) Mann of Silver Springs; her sister-in-law, Becky (the late Donald) Prince of Buffalo; Jeff, Nicole, Zachary and Chloe Kessler; many nephews and nieces; and lifelong friends, Judy Wayman Sears and Tom Surtel. Predeceased by her sister, Margaret Vasile; and in-laws John and Mary (Courtox) Prince.
Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours and services will be held privately at the convenience of family. Arrangements by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
