Judith Bresien

Age 85, of Warsaw, passed away on August 22, 2026, at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born on October 30, 1940, in Orchard Park, NY, daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Paplow Wieder. Judy worked for many years as a clerk at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. She enjoyed knitting, listening to music, and playing cards. She was also a member of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association.

She is predeceased by her parents; her loving husband of fifty-two years, Kenneth Bresien; all of her siblings; and a daughter-in-law, Ann Marie Bresien.

Judy is survived by her sons, Andrew Bresien, Daniel (Lisa) Bresien; her granddaughter, Lynnayne (Kurt) Kozlowsky.

No services will be held for Judy. Private burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Gainesville at a later date. Memorials in Judy’s name can be made to the Wyoming County Animal Shelter, 4380 Rt 19, Silver Springs, NY, 14550, or at www.animalfriendsofwyco.com.
