Age 70, of Warsaw, passed away on September 19, 2023 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Springtime was spent hunting wild turkeys on Carlton Hill, while autumn found him near his cabin chasing whitetails. He was a wrestling fan, attending many high school and college matches over the years. Joe loved music, especially the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers, and attended many concerts. He enjoyed craft brewed beers and had a love for dogs, especially his springer spaniels, Patches and Sadie. Joe loved joking and laughing with his children and grandchildren.
Joe was predeceased by his mother, Julia Bush Gillen, his sister, Christine Condidorio and infant brother, Michael Gillen.
