John C. "Jack" Erbelding

Age 93, of Warsaw, passed away on September 25, 2026.

He was born on July 30, 1933, in Rochester, son of the late John and Ethel Wiant Erbelding. Jack earned a bachelor’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and worked as an electrician for the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester. He also spent time in Alaska working on pipelines. Jack was a man of many talents but very much enjoyed carpentry. He built many houses over the years. Jack enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, hunting, and raising his chickens. He was also a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gates for many years.

Jack is predeceased by his parents and his six siblings.

He is survived by seventeen nieces and nephews; his long-time friend, Adam Allen; and his beloved dog, Blue.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 2415 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY, on October 31, 2026, at 11am.
