Joanne J. Privitera

Age 82, of Warsaw, NY died on January 2, 2021. Joanne taught for thirty-five years at Starpoint Central School in Lockport. She was an active member and former pianist for St. Michael’s Church in Warsaw and was a member of Buffalo Cursillo and was a former member of Buffalo Musicians Union #92.

Surviving are her siblings, Rosalie (Bill) Hanley of Tonawanda, Elaine Moore of Kenmore, Rita (Kenneth) Schroeder of Clarence, Dr. Michael (Joanne) Privitera of Pittsford; several nieces, nephews and cousins; close friends, Cyndy and Joe Rebisz and family of Perry.

A celebration of Joanne’s life will be held at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw on June 18 with visitation being held from 2 – 2:30 PM followed by a memorial celebration at 2:30 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Buffalo Cursillo.
