Jarrod S. James

Age 48, of Nunda, passed away on December 14, 2023 at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

He was born on December 19, 1974 in Cuba, NY, son of David Geens and the late Nancy James Geens. Jarrod was a very devoted and loving father and husband. Always willing to help anyone out, Jarrod was a transporter for the Amish for many years. He was a proud member of the Nunda Fire Department and the Boy Scouts of America. Jarrod also had a love for farming, NASCAR and the Buffalo Bills. 

Predeceased with his mother are his brother, Justin James and his Aunt Sheila Parrinello.

Along with his father, Jarrod is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Regina Vattimo James; his sons, Jacob James of Nunda, Joshua James of Nunda; his daughter, Cheyenne James of Nunda; his half-sister, Vickie (Reginald) Evans of Corning; his step-sisters, Rose (Gary) Mullen of Canisteo, Michelle (James) Dillen of Batavia; his step-brother, Lonnie (Wendy) Geens of Nunda; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Jarrod will be held at 10 AM on December 28, 2023 at the Oakland Wesleyan Church, 1519 State Route 436, Portage, NY. In lieu of flowers the family ask for memory pages to be added to a scrap book.
