Warsaw - Jane B. Heubusch, 86 of Warsaw passed away Saturday (July 4, 2026) at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
Jane was born February 9, 1940 in Warsaw, a daughter of the late David and Dorothy (Beggs) Blasius.
She was a longtime member of Centennial Lodge #299 Order of the Eastern Star in Warsaw, where she served as Past Matron and held several other offices. She was active in her community as a 4-H leader, a member of the United Church of Warsaw, serving as Secretary of the Women's Guild and on the Church Board, as well as a member of the Wyoming County Hospital Auxiliary and an Election Inspector. Before retiring, she was a longtime employee of Letchworth Central School. She enjoyed swimming, sewing, quilting, gardening, caring for her houseplants, and spending winters in Florida with her late husband, Bill, where she remained active in the community.
Surviving are her daughters, Kathleen Heubusch of Depew, Debra (Craig) Ikeler of Gainesville, and Margery (Brian) Arnold of Fillmore; grandchildren, Joseph W. Ikeler, Katelyn (Bradley) Leach, Kelsey (Xavier) Almeter, four step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Layla J. Ikeler, Craig J. Ikeler, Caden A. Almeter, and Avery J. Leach; sister, Maureen (late Paul) Tomlinson of North Carolina. A niece, nephew, and cousins also survive.
Along with her parents, Jane is reunited in death with her husband of 65 years, William J. Heubusch who passed away June 30, 2025; and her sister, Marilyn (late James) Pitts.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday (July 11, 2026) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 North Main Street in Warsaw, where Jane's memorial service will immediately follow visitation. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Gainesville.
