Gwendolyn M. Conroy

Age 91, of Warsaw, passed away on July 31, 2026, at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born on May 16, 1935, in Belfast, NY, daughter of the late Nelson and Lena Prevorse Paul. Gwen worked at the Brown Knitting Mill for several years and was also a private housekeeper for many years. She enjoyed reading, bowling, bingo, and playing volleyball. Gwen thoroughly loved her time at the nursing home. She spent some time as the President of the WCNF Resident Council and spoke very highly of the staff and her fellow residents.

She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, James Conroy; her daughter, Tina Conroy; a son, Michael Conroy; her sister, Geraldine Miller; her brother-in-law, Gerald Miller; her son Ed’s companion, Sue Klump.

Gwen is survived by her sons, Edward Conroy of Warsaw, Clarence (Marlene) Conroy of Washington, Todd (Julie) Conroy of Washington; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

No services will be held for Gwen. She will be buried in Warsaw Cemetery on a date to be determined.
