Evelyn L. (Hainsworth) Santullo passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Eastside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw, NY.
Evelyn was born on August 30, 1943, to Tracy and Sara (Briggs) Hainsworth in Penn Yan, NY.
She was a childcare provider for several years while her children were young. She later worked for 37 years at Manor Oak Nursing Facility and briefly at St. Michael’s School. Evelyn spent her final years helping to care for her great-granddaughter.
She was a longtime member of St. Michael’s Church, the Warsaw Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Warsaw Moose Club, the Warsaw Vet’s Club, and the VFW.
Evelyn was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Nicholas Santullo Sr.; and her sister, Marilyn Todaro.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (David) Hoffman; her son, N. Joseph (Julie) Santullo Jr.; her sisters, Roberta (Jerry) Fuller and Sharon (Robert) Meeder; and her brother, Tracy (the late Dianne) Hainsworth. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Amanda Hoffman, Sara Hoffman, Matthew Santullo, Karianne Santullo, and Daniel Santullo; and her great-grandchildren: Lilly, Clyde, and Eliza, as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A private family service will be held on May 28th, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
