Eileen J. Roth

Eileen J. Roth (Wannemacher), 95, of Warsaw, NY, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Eileen was born in 1931, the daughter of the late William Wannemacher Sr. and Pearl Sawicki Wannemacher of Buffalo, NY.

Eileen was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late James N. Roth; dearest mother of Alan (Amy) Roth, Diane (Del) Akin, and Christopher (Mary) Roth; loving grandmother of four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister of Barbara (Peter) Buono, the late Lorraine (Henry) Lesinski, and the late William (Gail) Wannemacher Jr.

In the 1960s and 70s Eileen and Jim, owned and operated Roth’s San-Tee Restaurant in South Warsaw and Diane’s Ice Cream Shop in downtown Warsaw. Eileen later owned and operated Eileen’s Boutique in the Village of Warsaw and in Orchard Park, NY.

Eileen was hardworking, outgoing, and blessed with many dear friends throughout her life. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she loved and prayed for her children every day. She always put others before herself and found joy in caring for the people she loved.

Eileen especially enjoyed the company of her husband, cooking, and spending time with her family. Her love, kindness, and devotion to those around her will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional staff of the Skilled Nursing Facility Peach Unit at Wyoming County Community Hospital, who provided Eileen with compassionate care during the past seven years.

There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the WCCH Skilled Nursing Facility Activities Department.
