Age 71, of Warsaw, unexpectedly passed away at home on September 7, 2026.
He was born on September 18, 1954, in Warsaw, son of Lorraine Woodley Bell and the late Donald J. Hulme Sr. He was a graduate of Wyoming Central School and earned an associate degree as well. Don also served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a carpenter foreman at Hulme Construction Inc. Don enjoyed 4-wheeling, fishing, boating, canoeing, hunting, and snowmobiling.
He is predeceased by his father; a daughter, Lynette Quibodeaux; a son, John Carney; a grandson, Michael-David Hulme; his stepfather, Bill Bell.
Don is survived by his mother; his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Sherri Hulme; his children, James Hulme, Michael (Jennifer) Hulme, Amy (Andy) Nickerson, Donna (Brian) Earsing, Michael Carney; his brothers, Tim (Cheryl) Hulme, Mark (Sue) Hulme, Alan (Mio) Hulme, Andy (Kathy) Hulme, Daniel (Janice) Hulme; his sister, Lori (Art) Crater; his grandchildren, US Naval Officer - Nicholas (Raquel) Vega, Draven (Paige) Bannister, Claudia Hulme, Elyse Nickerson, Evan Nickerson, Logan Nickerson, Grace Nickerson; his great-granddaughter, Madelina Bannister.
Friends may call on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10am – 12pm at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Don’s graveside service will take place immediately following visitation at Quaker Settlement Cemetery, Orangeville, NY.
