David C. Jones

Age 81, of Warsaw, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the Charlotte House in North Java.

He was born on December 17, 1944, in Warsaw, son of the late Carl and Marion Rutherford Jones. David worked in building maintenance at the Morton Salt Company in Silver Springs. He liked woodworking, hunting, and working on old cars.

David is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Mary Jones; a daughter, Stephanie MacLaughlin; his brothers, Robert Rutherford, Carl Jones; his in-laws, Robert and Florence Irving, Charles and Virginia Hunsinger, Robert and Betty Alwardt, Elmer and Jo Billings, Chris and Lillian Bowen, Moore and Clara Billings, Herbert Billings and Irene Hertzof.

He’s survived by his daughter, Renee (Jeff) Hill of Orangeville; his granddaughter, Courtney (Gavan) MacLaughlin of Warsaw; his great grandson, Everette Kantrowski of Warsaw; his brothers, Howard (Bonnie) Jones of Michigan, James (Pam) Brooks of Castile, Donald Jones of Perry, James (Mary) Ingals of North Carolina, Lucy Jones of Michigan; his sister-in-law, Doris Rutherford of Castile; his son-in-law, Phillip (Cindy) MacLaughlin of Warsaw.

No services will be held at the funeral home. A graveside service at Wyoming Cemetery will be held at a date to be determined later. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charlotte House, 4316 Route 98, North Java, NY 14113.
