Craig Traynor

Age 76, of Warsaw, passed away on June 7, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY.


He was born on January 4, 1948 in Warsaw, NY to the late William and Nora Callahan Traynor. Craig was a member of the Wyoming County Veteran’s Club and a former member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge #560. 


Craig loved watching baseball, especially his son’s teams. He also enjoyed coaching Little League teams himself for many years. Craig was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards. More than anything, Craig loved being a grandfather, always making sure to attend all of his grandkids events. Craig loved his dog, Ringo. 


He was predeceased by his wife, Jill Traynor, who passed away in 2014, and his sisters, Kay Sullivan, Barbara Callahan, and Beverly Humphrey. 


Craig is survived by his children, Todd Traynor of Perry, Janelle (the late Stephen) Baker of Warsaw, and Kristen (Kurt) Zeltwanger of Canisteo; grandchildren, Kinsley Baker, Delaney Baker, Lennon Baker, Oaklynn Zeltwanger, and Kylan Zeltwanger


Friends may call on Thursday, June 13th from 11am to 1pm at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Craig’s funeral service will take place immediately following at 1pm. Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Warsaw. Memorials may be made to the Warsaw Sports Boosters, PO Box 393, Warsaw, NY 14569.
