Age 72, of Silver Springs, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on April 2, 2026, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
He was born on May 13, 1953, in Warsaw, son of the late Harold and Marion Lemley Fladie. Charles worked various jobs over the years eventually retiring from the Barilla plant in Avon. Growing up on a farm he developed a love for tractors, especially Oliver tractors. Even though Charles didn’t make a profession out of farming it would always stay with him and most recently would often watch RFD-TV (Rural Free Delivery) to keep up with the latest in agribusiness and rural lifestyle. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and Boston Celtics. More than anything though, Charles enjoyed the time he spent with his family and is now reunited with his beloved dog, Sarge.
He is predeceased by his parents; his sister Betty Pratt; his brothers, Bill and Tom Fladie; his brother-in-laws, Douglas Freeth and Martin Pratt.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Cindy Fladie of Silver Springs; his daughters, Jessica (Timothy Andrews) Satterlee of Perry, Brittany (Tony) Cassidy of Batavia; his sisters, Donna Freeth of Broken Arrow, OK, Mary (Terry) Daniel of Warsaw; his brother, Steve Fladie of Florida; his grandchildren, Jakob Price, Nickolas Price, Madison Satterlee, Maeson Satterlee, Artorius Cassidy, and Colette Cassidy; his sister-in-law, Becky Fladie of Warsaw; many nieces and nephews.
