Cecelia Mabon

Cecelia Mabon, devoted wife and mother, passed away at the age of 92 on September 23, 2026. She was born on August 28, 1934 to Anthony and Florence Casper in Meeme, Wisconsin.

She leaves behind a large family forever grateful for her love, sweet nature and sense of humor. Surviving are her beloved husband, Merril and seven children - Chris Ciliberto (Peter), Merril Mabon (Patty), Cindy Hartley, Laura Ebel (John), Marcy Bowes (Dale), Scott Mabon (deceased Charlie) and son Tom Mabon. Twenty one grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren will also be missing their Nonnie.

Cecelia’s greatest joy was her family, cherishing every gathering. She brought warmth and always laughter which will live on in their memories. She liked gardening, crocheting, ceramics and getting silly with her grandchildren.

Once her children became adults, Cecelia worked at Pizza Hut in Wellsville for 10 years, keeping her coworkers entertained with her wonderful sense of humor and earning Employee of the Month many times.

There will be no services at this time. Cecelia’s Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
