Carl E. Russell

Age 68, passed away on July 28, 2026, at his home in Warsaw.

He was born on December 14, 1957, in Warsaw, son of Carl E. Russell and Diane Frazier Hollister. Carl was a graduate of Warsaw Central School and received an associate degree from Genesee Community College in criminal justice. He then went on to be a police officer in Arcade. Carl enjoyed camping, working out and lifting weights, attending the Taste of Buffalo, and going to Bills games with family and friends.

He is predeceased by his father, Carl E. Russell; his stepfather, Thomas Hollister.

Carl is survived by his mother Diane Hollister; his daughters, Amie (Doug Pfieffer) Russell of Arcade, Hillary Russell of Batavia; his sons, Ryan (Jessica Kowarko) Russell of Arcade, Blake (Jade) Russell of Perry; his sisters, Lori (Christopher) Bruno, Trisha (Michael) Woodward of Warsaw; his brothers, Thomas L. (Christine) Hollister of Warsaw, Jonathan Hollister; his grandchildren, Chloe McCutcheon, Dylan Russell, Caleb Russell, Lilly Russell, Alayna Luce, Lene Russell, Quinn Russell; and good friend, Robert “Bummer” Mower of Warsaw.

No formal services will be held for Carl. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
