Betty E. Fancher

Age 92, of Warsaw, passed away on January 12, 2021 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

She was born January 6, 1929 in Warsaw, daughter of the late William and Margaret McCaffery. Betty worked for over thirty years as a dispatcher with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department. She was a longtime member of St. Michael’s Church in Warsaw. Betty was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #560 and the Wyoming County Veterans Club both in Warsaw.

Along with her parents, Betty was predeceased by her sister Jean Doody Krotz.

Surviving are her nephews, William (Judith) Doody of Placida, Florida, Thomas Doody of Rochester; several great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a date to be announced in the future. Private burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorials may be made to St. Michael’s Church, 16 North St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
