Age 84, of Warsaw, passed away due to complications from Covid 19 on December 29, 2020 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital.
She was born May 3, 1936 in Rochester, NY, daughter of the late Franklin and Lucy Clark Crist. Barb was a graduate of Warsaw Central School Class of 1955 where she earned a school social letter recognizing her participation in a multitude of school clubs and activities including cheerleading. She worked for many years at the former Sears Catalog Store in Warsaw and then spent many years as a bank teller with Wyoming County Bank prior to her retirement. She was a member of the first united Methodist church of Warsaw.
Barb was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved attending her grandchildren’s activities. She loved catsitting for her daughter’s cats, particularly, Linguini who had a special fondness for Barb. Barb also enjoyed sewing and card making.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Fuller and her granddaughter, Lauren Grove.
Surviving are her children, Stephen (Susan) Krauss of Honeoye Falls, Suanne (Dennis) Grove of Warsaw, Karen (Craig) Willand of Ada, MI; her grandchildren, Crista (fiancé, Richard Crehan) Grove, David Grove, Simon Krauss, Owen Krauss, Evan Krauss, Gage Willand. She was the sister of the late Bud Crist and Roger Crist.
There are no services at this time. A celebration of Barb’s life will be held at a future date. Memorials may be made to the Warsaw Rescue Squad, PO Box 22, Warsaw, NY 14569 or Warsaw Food Pantry, PO Box 205, Warsaw, NY 14569 or Parkinson’s Foundation, 2805 Wehrle Dr., Suite 12, Williamsville, NY 14221. The family would also like to thank the staff at the Neurology Department of Strong Memorial hospital for their wonderful care during Barb’s fight against Parkinson’s Disease.
