Age 83, of Warsaw, passed away on December 29, 2020 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.
He was born December 25, 1937 in Warsaw, son of the late John and Fannie Dersam Carlson. He was a graduate of Wyoming Central School Class of 1956. Allan was a self employed farmer for many years. He also worked as a salesperson for the former Matson Motors in Warsaw for several years. In later years, Allan served as a courier for the Wyoming County Bank.
Allan was a long time member of the Warsaw Lodge #549 Free & Accepted Masons as well as the Centennial Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. He was a past District Grand Lecturer and served as Genesee Wyoming District Deputy Grand Master for the Masons in 1986. Allan was a past Grand Associate Sentinel for the Order of the Eastern Star in 1986 and was a past Patron. He was a member of the Wyoming County Farm Bureau.
Allan was predeceased by his son, Michael Carlson.
Surviving are his wife of sixty-two years, Joyce Mann Carlson; his children, Wayde Carlson of Warsaw, Brett (Jennifer) Carlson of Irondequoit, Amy Goodno of Ontario, NY; his grandchildren, Cory Carlson, Connor, Kyler and Cooper Goodno, Baylee Rose and Joshua Carlson; great grandchild, Aubrey Lee Carlson; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Elton Carlson, Clayton Carlson, John Carlson and Agnes Wilcox.
Friends may call Monday, January 4, 2021 from 11 AM – 2 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Allan’s funeral service will follow at 2 PM. Private burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined and memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in Allan’s memory. Due to Covid 19 precautions, the funeral home is limited to 33% capacity and facemasks are required. Thank you for your cooperation.
