Predeceased by siblings Alice Ann Wilson, Robert Peabody Elliott, Henry ‘Hank’ Elliott.

Went to be with his Lord on September 1, 2020 at the age of 90, after a short, difficult battle with cancer. Born on February 5, 1930 to Robert Page Elliott and Mary ‘Eleanor’ Peabody in Cleveland, Ohio; third eldest of seven children. Around age five the family moved to upstate New York, where Bill did his growing up years in Livonia. At the age of 18, Bill enlisted in the Air Force, was stationed in Alaska during the Korean War, then stationed in Vermont where he met Aline Beaudin on a blind date; they married in 1954. Bill attended Trenton State College, in New Jersey. Several years after graduating the family moved to Buffalo, New York, where Bill worked as a nuclear reactor operator for SUNY until his retirement.

A good man of deep faith and devotion, high integrity, strong convictions, immense patience, quiet and intelligent. The loves of his life were his family and his church. Hobbies included hunting and trapping, reading, sailing (or rather tinkering with sailboats), history buff. A constant putterer who enjoyed “fixing” things so he could make them “better.” Liked to keep the good “ole” things, and believed in frugality to the point of doing his own mending. Quietly generous. Bill lived his life based upon the virtues of his faith, living humbly and simply so that he could give to others.

Arrangements are calling at 10:00 a.m., followed by mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Silver Springs, then interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Silver Springs on Saturday, September 5th.
