William C. Sanford

Age 73, of Castile, NY died May 2, 2015 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

He was born in Warsaw, NY on November 5, 1941 the son of the late Loren and Catherine Goho Sanford. Bill served in the US Army, then went to work for many years at CP Ward?s in Rochester as carpenter. After retiring he spent a lot of time helping out friends and family with many different projects. He was a member of the Wallace- Jeffers American Legion Post in Castile, NY.

Surviving are his companion Gloria Perkins of Castile, two sisters Waba Wolcott of Mt Morris and Gloria Andrews of Ohio, two brothers Reggie (Donna) Sanford of Castile and Craig Rice of Groveland , two grandchildren, Jenna Mellinger and Tosha Moya and a great grandson Christian Mellinger.

Friends may call Friday May 8 from 6- 7:30 pm at the Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St Castile , where an American Legion service will follow.
