Susan R. Chaffee

Age 60, of Warsaw, passed away on January 15, 2023 at home.

She was born in Olean, NY on October 25, 1962 to Roger and Corrina Kelley Haskins. Susan had worked as a home health aide for Wyoming County and as a developmental aide for New York State.

Susan loved nature, especially flowers, plants, and going out on four wheeler rides. One of her fondest memories as a child, and something she enjoyed doing throughout her life, was picking and eating strawberries. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Susan is predeceased by her daughter, Sara Chaffee.

She is survived by her husband, James Chaffee; her children, Sheena Chaffee of Warsaw, Jacob Chaffee of Machias, Harley Chaffee of NC; siblings, Roger (Ellen) Haskins of CA, Doug Haskins of AZ, Andrew (Cindy) Haskins of Allegany, Debbie (Greg) Merriam of Elma; grandchildren, Damon, Diesel, Phoenix, Benjamin, and Nathan.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 21st from 1pm to 3pm at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Susan’s memorial service will be held immediately following at 3pm.
