Susan D. Timothy

Age 70, of Wyoming, NY, passed away at her home on April 10, 2020.

She was born May 27, 1949 in Warsaw, NY daughter of the late Gerald Stothers and Ruth Fleming Stothers of Orlando, FL. Sue was dedicated to child care, babysitting in earlier years and in more recent years working at the former Mudpies and Milestones Day Care Center in Warsaw. She also worked for several years as a clerk at the Wyoming County Community Hospital.

Sue was a longtime member of the Wyoming United Methodist Church. She also was an accomplished seamstress, always willing to fix or mend for family and friends.

Sue was predeceased by her husband, Brian Timothy who passed away on December 13, 2016, her son, Kelly Timothy who died in 2019 and her grandson, Casey Timothy who died in 2011.

Surviving along with her mother are her son, Tracy (Megan Fisher) Timothy of Ithaca; her grandchildren, Brandon Timothy, Morrigan Timothy and Brynn Timothy; her sisters, Carolyn (Craig) Timothy of Wyoming, Amy McNamara of Wyoming, Cynthia McGowan of Alabama; her brother, Richard (Cindy) Stothers of Orlando, FL; mother-in-law, Pauline Timothy of Wyoming; brother-in-law, Gary Timothy of Wyoming; sister-in-law, Karen (Andy) Hart of Batavia.
Sue was the sister of the late Arthur Stothers, Robert Stothers and Linda Fladie and was daughter-in-law of the late Leonard Timothy.

Due to the current health crisis, there will be no visitation or service at this time. Public services will be held at a future date to be announced. Memorials in Sue’s memory may be made to the Wyoming United Methodist Church, PO Box 213, Wyoming, NY 14591.
