Royce E. Fisher, Jr. "Stubby"

Age 74, of Warsaw, passed away on November 27, 2021 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

He was born January 23, 1947 in Warsaw, son of the late Royce, Sr. and Violet Kittle Fisher. Royce was a lifelong farmer.
Royce was active in antique tractor pulling and horse pulling for many years and was a member of the Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association.

Royce served as Highway Superintendent for the Town of Gainesville from 1997 – 2011. In connection with his position, he was a member of the Wyoming County Highway Superintendents' Association as well as the Associations in Livingston and Allegany Counties.

Royce got great enjoyment out of working in his metal workshop and his wood workshop as well as his saw mill. Family and friends remember Royce as a hard working man who was always willing to help where his many talents were needed.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-one years, Nora Clark Fisher; his children, Crystal (Robert) Tatarka of Warsaw, Scott (Vessa) Fisher of Warsaw, Tracy Fisher of Warsaw, Jennifer (Justin) Mikula of Jamestown, Steven (Cassie) Fisher of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Jyssica Fisher, Joe Fisher, Katie Fisher, Carlee Fisher, Alexzander Fisher, Zackery Fisher and Annabelle Mikula.

Friends may call Friday, December 3 from 2-4, and 5-7 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 North Main Street, Warsaw. Following visitation, a reception will be held at 7:30 in the Fellowship Hall at the United Church of Warsaw, corner of South Main and East Buffalo Streets. A private family graveside service will be in Dale Cemetery.
