Patricia Ann Mcvean

Age 73, of Pavilion, passed away on May 23, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.

She was born on December 2, 1947 in Kenmore, NY, daughter of the late Nelson and June Weller Newton. Patricia enjoyed raising alpaca and loved music. She was loved by her family and her friends, whom she also considered family. She was a member of the Covington United Presbyterian Church.

Patricia was predeceased by her grandchild, Jesse Moore.

Surviving are her husband, Douglas McVean; her children, Kimberly (Steve) Moore, Rodney (Julie) Smith, Jennifer Smith; grandchildren, Nicole (Jamie) Dell, Steve (Stephanie Draper) Moore, Jordan Smith, Mitchell Swede, Ashly Swede; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Gary Newton, Sandy (Walt) Schlecht, Diane Newton; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday, June 13 from 2 – 4 PM at the Covington United Presbyterian Church, 1701 Craig Rd., Pavilion, where Patricia’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 4 PM. Memorials may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center, Alumni and Advancement Center, PO Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627 or the Covington United Presbyterian Church, 1701 Craig Rd., Pavilion, NY 14525.
