Michelle L. Brennan

Age 32, of Gainesville, NY, passed away on June 16, 2021 at the Buffalo General Hospital.

She was born January 4, 1989 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of Lawrence Brennan and the late Sandra Petko Brennan. Michelle was a graduate of Letchworth Central School Class of 2007. She received her Associate’s Degree in Medical Administration from Genesee Community College where she also received the President’s Award.

Michelle was a miniature horse enthusiast. Her life was one of service to the community. She volunteered for multiple organizations including veterans groups and mental health organizations. Michelle received the Ray of Hope Award in May 2021 during Wyoming County Mental Health Awareness Month.

Surviving are her father, Larry Brennan of Gainesville; her sisters, Elaine, Dawn, Karen; her brothers, Chris and Jimmy; her aunts and uncle, Michael (Mary) Brennan, Dorothy (Snuffy) Thortan, Barbara (the late Bob) Brennan; several nieces, nephews and cousins from the United States and Canada. Michelle is predeceased by her fiancé, Josh Schmidt; her aunts and uncles, Marian (Don) Toy and Edward (Gloria) Brennan.

Thank you to all the dedicated nurses who helped Michelle throughout her life.

Friends may call Monday, June 21 from 1 – 7 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Michelle’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 7 PM. Burial will be in the Western New York National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Friends at Wyoming County Animal Shelter, 4380 Route 19, Silver Springs, NY 14550.
