Marlyn A. Dukelow

Age 87, of Pavilion, NY, passed away on October 17, 2021 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

She was born May 20, 1934 in Hicksville, NY, daughter of the late Charles and Helen Myers Hodges. Marlyn was an active member of the LaGrange Baptist Church. She was a longtime member of the Wyoming County Community Hospital Auxiliary in Warsaw and was a former President of the organization. She and her late husband, James operated the family farm in Covington for many years. Marlyn enjoyed gardening and took great pride in being a certified farm medic.

Marlyn was predeceased by her husband, James who passed away in 2009.

Surviving are her children, Penny Dukelow of Batavia, Marlyn Kay (Randy) Phelps of Pavilion, Jean Derick of Bath, NY and Downsville, NY, John (Cheryl) Dukelow of Pavilion; grandchildren, Brian Dukelow, Phillip Dukelow, Brady Derick, Tom Phelps, Lynn Miles and Jessica Nichols; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Nancy Tabor of Wales Center, NY.

Marlyn’s funeral service will be held Thursday, October 21 at noon at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the LaGrange Baptist Church, 7092 LaGrange Road, Pavilion, NY 14525 or Meals on Wheels, 8 Perry Ave., Warsaw, NY 14569.
