M. Jane Ritter

Age 83, of Warsaw, passed away on April 11, 2020 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born May 1, 1936 in Buffalo, daughter of the late James and Martha George Simons. Jane was employed for many years as a licensed practical nurse at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. She loved antiquing. Jane was a family person. She enjoyed raising her children and she had a special bond with her four sisters.

Surviving are her children, Diane Ritter of Michigan, John (Joanne) Ritter of Java, Danny (Donna) Ritter of Boston, MA, Julie (John) Schallert of Boston, MA; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sisters, Joanne (George) MacKenna of Amherst, Mary (Linda) Simons of Java, Sheila (Michael) Holmes of Rushford, Patricia (Michael) Dennis of Richmond, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Jane’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8 at 10 AM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorial donations may be made to the Wyoming Community Hospital Foundation, 400 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
