Lorraine L. Kelly

Age 72, of North Java, NY, formerly of Rochester, passed away on July 22, 2022 at Charlotte House Comfort Care in North Java.

She was born August 11, 1949 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late Bob and Jean Cosgrove Higgins. Lorraine was a graduate of Erie Community College. She was employed in child care for many years in Rochester. Lorraine was a member of Little People of America, where she met her late husband, David. She was also a member of Tri-Town Seniors and Holy Family Parish in North Java, where she was active in the choir. Lorraine loved listening to country music and classic 50’s and 60’s music.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, David Kelly, daughter, Sarah Kelly and brother, Michael Higgins.

Surviving are her daughter, Jennifer Kelly of Rochester; her siblings, Bob Higgins of Cheektowaga, Jeanne (Joe) DiLiberto of Surprise, AZ, Georgette Higgins of North Java, Mary (Roy) Smalley of North Java, Joe (Sue) Higgins of Cheektowaga, Bill (Pat) Higgins of Paris, TX, Jim “Boomer” (Fely) Higgins of Silverdale, WA; sister-in-law, Ruth (Pat) Moran of Rochester; brother-in-law, Marty (Mary) Kelly of Rochester; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday, July 27 from 3 – 7 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 28 at 1 PM at Grove Place Cemetery, Marshall Rd., Chili, NY. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charlotte House Comfort Care, PO Box 123, North Java, NY 14113 or the North Java Fire Department, PO Box 137, North Java, NY 14113.
