Lois L. Quinn

Age 83, a resident of the Livingston County Nursing Facility in Mt. Morris, formerly of Portageville, passed away on January 15, 2021 at Highland Hospital in Rochester.

She was born in Lovelady, NC, daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen Powell Cook. Lois was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid bingo player.
Lois enjoyed reading murder mysteries and she had a great fondness for all animals.

Surviving are her husband of sixty years, John Quinn; her children, Erin (Kevin) Castles of Long Island, John (Karen) Quinn of Fairport, Melanie Beardsley of Fairport; grandchildren, Brooke Ruggierio, Samantha Quinn, William Quinn, Wyatt Beardsley and Allyson Beardsley; her sisters, Shirley Smith and Penny Curtis; brother, Rick Cook. She was the sister of the late Pearl Anthony.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 25 at 11 AM at St. Isidore’s Parish, St. Mary’s Church site, Silver Springs. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Portageville. (Due to Covid 19 precautions, the church is limited to thirty people in attendance). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
