Kyle J. Adamczak

Gainesville - Kyle J. Adamczak, 63 of Gainesville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, (February 8, 2022) at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

Mr. Adamczak was born August 15, 1958 in Warsaw, a son of the late James and Laurel (Drake) Adamczak.

A lifelong Gainesville resident, Kyle attended Letchworth Central School, Class of 1976. After highschool, he went on to attend Syracuse University earning bachelors degrees in both journalism and communications. Kyle was a member of the Gainesville United Methodist Church and had recently retired as the Public Information Coordinator at Genesee Valley BOCES, where he was held in high regard among his colleagues. Devoted to the arts, he was extremely active with the Arts Council for Wyoming County where he served as the Classic Film Series Curator. Kyle was the Station Manager and Executive Producer with Letchworth Cable Access. Kyle will be remembered for his quick, dry wit and being genuinely kind to all he met.

Kyle is survived by an uncle, Paul (Ann) Adamczak of Richford, Vermont; his sister-in-law, Waynette Adamczak and her daughter, Stephanie Hindle both of North Carolina. Several cousins also survive.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Roger Adamczak; aunt, Patricia Walczak; Uncle, Lyle (Lois) Drake.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:30 am at the Gainesville United Methodist Church. Private burial will take place in Union Park Cemetery in Wethersfield Springs next to his parents. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial contribution in Kyle's name to the Gainesville United Methodist Church, PO Box 342, Gainesville, NY 14066; the Gainesville Fire Department, PO Box 253, Gainesville, NY 14066 or the Arts Council for Wyoming County, 31 South Main St., Perry, NY 14530.

The family wishes to acknowledge with thanks the Gainesville Fire Department and Rescue Squad for the quick response to Kyle's home and the professionalism with which they cared for Kyle. We will be forever grateful.
