Kathy J. Paul

Age 66, of the Town of Gainesville, passed away at home on February 4, 2020 under the care of hospice and her loving family.

She was born February 9, 1953 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Dieter Gayhart. Kathy was a graduate of Warsaw Central School and she worked for forty-eight years at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

Kathy was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed walking. She enjoyed barrel racing and always enjoyed the tug of war competitions during the July 4th celebrations in Warsaw.

Surviving are her husband of forty-five years, Wayne Paul, whom she married on November 16, 1974; her daughters, Jennifer (Ted) Warner of Castile, Bonnie (Barry) Grisewood of Castile, Lois (George) Booth of Covington; her grandchildren, Faith Warner, Kendra Warner, Landon Warner, Samantha Warner, Ashley Grisewood, Ryan Grisewood, Lucas Grisewood, Brittany Booth, Joshua Booth and Sandy Cushman; her brother, Keith Gayhart of Hume; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sherwood, Elwin, Raymond, Richard, Willard, Donald and Phillip Gayhart.

Friends may call Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 1 – 3 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Kathy’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 3 PM. Private burial will be in Union Park Cemetery, Wethersfield Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 John J. Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228 or the Wyoming County Animal Shelter, 4380 State Route 19, Silver Springs, NY 14550.
